Strategic platform presence — where Michiu should be, but isn't yet

Companion to docs/finding-reviews.md. That doc covers platforms where Michiu already has reviews to import. This doc covers platforms where Michiu should exist for reach, by audience tier — most of which aren't review-import targets but business-development / PR / B2B work.

All findings verified via web search 2026-05-03. URLs were live then; re-verify before pitching since editorial sites change frequently.

Tier 3 — RAI Corporate Bookers (B2B event planners)

Michiu is 400m from RAI Amsterdam — the Netherlands' largest convention center. Tier 3 is the moat that no one else in the area has positioned for.

Tier 3 brand asset: Tier 3 outreach material lives in the vault at MICHIU/_M-Marketing/Tier-3-RAI/. The LinkedIn target list of event planners

  • corporate bookers is there. Cvent + LinkedIn presence are the two unlocks that make outbound to that list 10× more credible.

Tier 2 — Classic Connoisseurs (Dutch + expat 45-70, weeknight + weekend lunch)

This tier reads guides, trusts editorial, and follows curators they recognize. Editorial pickups here matter more than Instagram virality.

Tier 1 — Status Builders (Dutch entrepreneurs 25-32, weekend evenings)

Status Builders use Instagram + TikTok as primary discovery, but they ALSO read certain Dutch lifestyle-curator outlets that translate cool-kid prestige into mainstream affluent visibility.

How to use this doc

This is a biz-dev backlog, not the review-import system. Items here become individual tickets in the agency's planning track:

  • Cvent / Spacebase / CorpVenue listings → operational task for the agency
  • Lekker500 / Bart's Boekje / Infatuation pitches → PR push
  • MICHELIN suggestion → 5-min owner submission
  • LinkedIn Company Page → content cadence

When any of these go live and start collecting reviews (Facebook will once consolidated; LinkedIn Recommendations once the page has activity), add source slugs to the review system enum and write a new migration.
